Baker Beach

Photobucket
A few weeks ago, my sister visited San Francisco, leaving me feeling totally refreshed. My new job has been consuming– to say the least and a little bit of sight seeing is just what I needed. On this particularly foggy day, we ventured to the norther part of the city and spent  Sunday afternoon at Baker Beach. On clear days, you'll find fantastic views of the Golden Gate Bridge and the quintessentially colorful homes of San Francisco over look the ocean from magnificent hillsides, cutting through the mist on even the foggiest of days.

loving lately: zoë gwendoline

When I first saw Zoë's art, I thought, "I want this girl to give me a tattoo!" Pen and ink is the medium of choice for this Bay Area artist. The lines she creates are clean and smooth allowing every detail to be sharp and intense. Unconventional canvases like shoes, puzzles and bags make for the perfect backdrop against her intricate designs. You can find her on Etsy and Facebook or visit her site here! If you're in the area, you may even find her at one of the many local flea markets where she sells her art!

Apologies, I've been completely absent as of late. It drives me crazy because I love my blog, but I have just embarked on a exciting new career path, which is extremely consuming. I'm hoping to streamline soon and start posting regularly again, but in the meantime, I am so appreciative to those of you have stuck with me! It means the world!
This adorable dress arrived early last week c/o Sugalrlips Apparel and its perfect for the beautiful weather we've been having here in the Bay Area. Perfect for a casual weekend with friends, it can easily be made professional, paired with a blazer for work. Visit their site for more summer essentials!

street style: john

Friday afternoon, I got out of work early and met my friend John for lunch. He had just come from a job interview and was looking particularly sharp. His colorful Donald Pliners caught my eye right away. I love the contrast of the charcoal suede and tangerine accents and the perfectly, color coordinated pocket square tied it all together. Cross your fingers for John that he gets the job!
